Avocado oil easily absorbs deep into the tissue and is great to use for massage oils or carrier oils. In my research I found that mixing Avocado Oil with Sweet Almond Oil is a great combination. Avocado has a sweet nutty scent and contains fantastic emollient properties.
It is high in Vitamins A, D and E and contains several antioxidants. Vitamin A, D and E help with skin cell growth and regeneration. Vitamin A and E have strong antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties and also provides you with a natural sun protection.
Studies have shown that Avocado Oil can reduce the appearance of age spots and fine lines because Vitamin A and D provide collagen production and because avocado oil contains plant sterolins it helps to soften the skin and gives it a superior moisturizing effect. This oil is fantastic for maturing skin and will not clog pores. My research shows that the application of Avocado Oil can effectively slow down the skin’s ageing process.
There have been reports that state that Avocado oil has been known to help with dryness and itching for people who suffer with different skin elements such as eczema and psoriasis. Because of its strong antibacterial properties it is said that Avocado Oil helps to heal cuts and wounds faster.
